DevSecOps & Cloud Platform Engineer

Role Summary

GitLab is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to enhance our cloud infrastructure, automate security scanning across build pipelines, and scale Kubernetes clusters that host millions of daily CI/CD job executions.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform across Google Cloud and AWS.
• Maintain Kubernetes clusters and helm chart deployments with high availability.
• Embed automated vulnerability and dependency scanning into GitLab CI pipelines.
• Collaborate openly through GitLab merge requests, following our transparent handbook.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
• Scripting and automation proficiency in Go, Python, or Ruby.
• Understanding of networking, DNS, TLS certificates, and cloud security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent credential.
• Experience running large-scale GitLab self-managed or SaaS installations.
